About First Ministry Retreat
Ministry and leadership are sacred callings. They are also demanding, often carrying weight that few people fully understand. First Ministry: A Marriage Renewal Retreat is an intentionally curated, private weekend created for church and business leaders who desire to protect, restore, and strengthen the marriage at the center of their calling.
Hosted by LegacyMaker International, at an exclusive private residence and limited to just 7 couples, these retreat offers focused teaching, meaningful conversation, and guided moments of reflection, creating the space to slow down, reconnect, and realign around what matters most: the covenant you share with one another.
What to Expect
This is not a lecture or conference. It's a hands-on, experience driven retreat where you'll find:
A space designed for leaders and their spouses. No explaining the pressure. No performing. Just being fully present with others who understand the weight of leadership both in ministry and business.
Intentional care for the marriage behind the ministry. Because strong leadership flows from a healthy covenant—not the other way around.
Small, intimate setting, not a crowded conference: Limited to just 7 couples for each retreat, hosted at a private residence, creating room for depth, safety, and meaningful connection.
Guidance from leaders who’ve lived it: Hosted by Sean & Lanette Reed, who spent decades in pastoral leadership and understand the unseen costs of leadership on marriage and family.
Teaching that honors Scripture while addressing the real emotional and relational dynamics of marriage

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Held in a private residence.(The exact location will be provided upon registration.)
Tentative Schedule:
- Friday: Arrive by 5:00 PM
- Saturday: Breakfast 9:00 AM
- Sunday: Breakfast 8:00 AM Leave at 11am
Retreat Cost $1899 per couple.
Cost Includes:
-All meals
-Lodging. Hosted at an exclusive residence with individual quarters for each couple: creating space for rest, privacy, and renewal.
